With teachers who have won numerous Rock competitions, or who have been judges of these competitions, Rock 4 You trains several hundred students each year in courses followed throughout the year, as well as several hundred students in private lessons and in accelerated introductory courses over a weekend.
Look no further, Rock 4 You is made for you!
Our courses are designed for people coming alone, we welcome couples and groups of friends equally without limit on numbers.
We give couples the choice to change partners during the course or not. By never rotating, you will just learn less quickly, and that's a shame. But you do what you want and we will respect it!

What is 4-Stroke Rock?
Rock 4 Temps is a couple dance without basic steps allowing great artistic freedom, with a quantity of supporting movements called "passes" that is danced at weddings, colleges, evenings with family and friends.
Created in the 50s with the arrival of Rockabilly, the development of Rock 4 Temps as we see it today dates from the 2010s , bringing it into line with the most recent and most advanced couple dancing techniques.
This very popular and increasingly widespread dance can be danced to any music from the 1950s to today, with the only constraint being a rhythm and a tempo that makes you want to shake your hips to the beat!
It is in this festive and good-natured spirit that Rock 4 You offers you classes and evenings to learn how to dance Rock and dance to the music you love. Friendliness, energy, and dancing with everyone without asking questions are the pillars of this accessible and fun dance!

Our Classrooms
Dance Classes Cadiz
2 rue de Cadix 75015 PARIS
We teach our classes in the Cadiz dance hall of the Rock 4 You dance school, which has been in existence for over 80 years.
In the past, people used to dance Swing there: the bay window would open onto the street and balls would be held there, with the live band playing from inside the room, the dancers invading the sidewalk and public highway...
After an absence of several decades, couple dancing is returning to this hall steeped in history thanks to the Rock 4 Temps classes and the Rock 4 You school, which has taken over the entirety of this human-scale dance hall!
Ideally located 2 minutes walk from the Porte de Versailles Metro station, our dance studio is bright and very well equipped. Quality sound system, Harlequin dance floor, bars, mats and mirrors are waiting for you! Socks for all are mandatory, which makes the practice much more friendly ;)
You will see, it is a real pleasure to dance there. A cloakroom is at your disposal in an adjoining room, as well as toilets to wash your hands before and after a session.

Discover our new, freshly renovated room where you can take our classes, our courses and our practices every evening of the week.
With new solid parquet flooring, a completely newly decorated room, we are pleased to welcome you in a 160m² space, with cloakroom, open lockers, as well as a kitchen to offer you a little drink if we have time!
Located 10 seconds walk from the Volontaires station on metro line 12, you will appreciate the high ceilings and the quality of our professional sound system in 8 points!
The only constraint: do not make noise when crossing the courtyard of the building, because it is inhabited year-round by many people who should not be disturbed in passing. To chat after class, head to the local bar instead ;)

The greatest advantage of Rock is being able to dance to the music you like.
With the 4/4 rhythm of the songs to which Rock 4 Temps is danced, and a rhythm that makes you want to move, the range of possibilities is enormous!
We have thus created a great many playlists for you, bringing together a large number of songs on which you can dance Rock. Since a wide spectrum of music styles (Pop, Rock, Electro, Swing, Rockabilly, Variety, etc.), eras (from the 50s to today) and tempos (80 to 180 BPM) are danceable in Rock 4 Temps, we have created themed playlists, as well as time-based playlists, without forgetting all of our playlists from past evenings.
For an undeniable practical aspect, all our playlists are on Spotify, a player for which you will find opposite.
